About

Equipping students to give their lives for the cause of Christ in the Church, among the nations, and in every aspect of society.

What We believe

Who We Are

The College at Southeastern began in 1994 as an undergraduate school of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Southeastern Seminary opened its doors in 1950 with a relative handful of students and a mandate to train students to serve churches all over the east coast of the United States. Since then, our student body has grown considerably and our reach has expanded across the entire globe — in part, through The College at Southeastern’s significant growth and expansive mission to equip students to give their lives for the cause of Christ in the Church, among the nations, and in every aspect of society.

What We Do

As a fully accredited, four-year Christian college, The College at Southeastern combines the best of a liberal arts education with conservative biblical and theological training. Through ministry, missions, and marketplace degree programs, The College equips students to discern their calling in community and to live on mission. The College’s rigorous core curriculum, including its Great Books component, prepares students to think, read, research, and speak biblically and critically as they advance the cause of Christ.
